Job Description
Spektrum is seeking a Help Desk Technician to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Stavanger, Norway. This role is part of the PAN Migration to NATO Public Cloud project, which aims to transition staff from the on-premises Public Access Network (PAN) to the NATO Public Cloud (NPCL). The Help Desk Technician will provide early lifecycle support to users, assisting with IT administration, first-line technical support, user communication, and troubleshooting.Responsibilities:
  • Provide user support for self-enrolment process.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and guide users through diagnostic techniques.
  • Train users in best practices for Microsoft 365 and the NATO Public Cloud Environment.
  • Manage end-user client hardware, including delivery, lifecycle, and replacement.
  • Liaise with other NCIA Business Areas to resolve incidents and fulfill requests.
  • Support IT administrative tasks and logistical efforts.
Requirements:
  • Intermediate understanding of end-user devices (desktops, laptops, tablets, smartphones) running Windows OS and Apple iPhones/iPads managed through Intune.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 services and tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting and Power Automate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer service orientation and organizational skills.
  • Must have the nationality of one of the NATO nations.
  • Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance.
