Job Description
Isar Aerospace is seeking a Launch Pad Operations Engineer to join their team in Andenes, Norway. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in test and launch campaigns of the Spectrum launch vehicle, working closely with design engineers and technicians from the headquarters in Germany. This role involves improvement and maintenance activities for the launch infrastructure, as well as preparatory work like creating procedures and processes to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operations. He will play a crucial role in getting launch vehicle to orbit.
  • Play a key role in launching our Spectrum vehicle
  • Prepare and conduct stage test campaigns
  • Develop and improve procedures and processes
  • Maintaining high quality standards while handling flight hardware
  • Relevant engineering qualification or engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree
  • Hands-on experience in development or testing or complex systems
  • Experience in test data acquisition, reduction and evaluation
  • Capable of designing fluid and mechanical systems
  • Experience with multidisciplinary troubleshooting
  • Ability to perform in high-stress environments
  • Highly organised, effective team player with high attention to detail
  • Able to adjust self-sufficiently and quickly to a highly dynamic work environment
  • Physical dexterity is required as working in confined spaces is necessary
