Ogilvy is seeking a Social Media Intern to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The intern will support the development and execution of social media strategies for clients, focusing on the Saudi market. This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, and a passion for creating engaging content.
Responsibilities: - Brainstorm, research, and develop engaging content ideas.
- Develop content plans and calendars.
- Write creative briefs for content creators.
- Curate relevant content from industry sources.
- Translate content between Arabic and English.
- Assist in scheduling and publishing content.
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments.
- Engage with followers and build relationships with influencers.
- Assist in the execution of social media campaigns.
- Participate in online conversations to build brand awareness.
- Identify and engage with potential customers and partners.
- Monitor social media trends and competitor activity.
- Track and analyze social media performance metrics.
- Prepare reports on social media activity.
- Stay informed about the latest social media trends.
- Research and recommend new social media platforms.
- Assist account teams with marketing tasks.
Requirements: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field at a Saudi University.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, especially those popular in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Creativity and a passion for developing engaging content strategies.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with social media management tools is a plus.
- Knowledge of Saudi culture and current events.
- A strong interest in advertising and marketing.
- Ability to write clear and concise briefs.
