CVX Ventures is seeking a dynamic and strategic Country Manager to lead their Danish division in Copenhagen. The Country Manager will be responsible for shaping the company's vision, driving operational excellence, and ensuring long-term profitability. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a natural ability to build trust and relationships, driven, hands-on, and able to inspire a high-performing team.

CVX invests with and through top business angels, currently having over 600 business angel partners who invest in and support companies.
The Country Manager role involves:
- Defining and executing strategy, adapting as needed.
- Leading the Danish expansion, including potential acquisitions.
- Managing the Danish P&L and overall operations.
- Expanding and maintaining a valuable pool of partners.
- Developing and leading a top-tier team of 15 in sales, board management, events, member relations, and marketing.
- Identifying and attracting top investment cases.
- Leading investment deals from sourcing to investment.
- Representing CVX at events, gatherings, and conferences.
Requirements include:
- High work ethic with a strong sense of urgency.
- Strong drive and desire to be the best.
- 5+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, high-growth startups, or similar dynamic environments.
- Proactive approach and ability to take ownership.
- Deep engagement in the venture capital and startup environment.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Effective communication skills at management and board levels.
- Ability to gain trust from business leaders.
- Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
- Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
- Natural sales ability and strategic/operational sales skills.
- Strong leadership skills, preferably with team management experience.
- Fluency in Danish and English.
- Existing network in the Danish startup ecosystem (preferred).
