CVX Ventures is seeking a dynamic and strategic Founder to lead its Danish division in Copenhagen towards continued growth and success. The Founder will be responsible for shaping the company's vision, driving operational excellence, and ensuring long-term profitability. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a natural ability to build trust and relationships, is extremely driven and hands-on, and has the ability to inspire a high-performing team.

Role Involves:

  • Defining and executing strategy and adapting it continuously.
  • Leading the Danish expansion, including potential acquisitions.
  • Having responsibility for the Danish P&L and overall operations.
  • Expanding and maintaining a large and value-creating pool of partners.
  • Developing and leading a top-class team of 15 people within sales, board management, events & members, and marketing.
  • Identifying and attracting the best investment cases.
  • Leading investment deals from start to finish – from deal sourcing to investment.
  • Representing CVX at events, gatherings, conferences, etc.

Requirements:

  • High work ethic with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Unusually strong drive and desire to be the best in your field.
  • 5+ years of experience, ideally from management consulting, investment banking, venture capital, high-growth startups, or similar dynamic environments.
  • Proactive approach and ability to take ownership over everything you do.
  • Deep engagement in the venture capital and startup environment with a passion for analyzing and investing in companies.
  • Ability to bring people together and create strong relationships.
  • Skilled at communicating effectively at management and board level.
  • Ability to win the trust of business leaders.
  • Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
  • Natural sales ability and ability to work strategically and operationally with sales.
  • Strong leadership skills, preferably with previous experience in leading teams.
  • Fluent in Danish and English.
  • Preferably an existing network in the Danish startup ecosystem.
