iFood is a leading Brazilian technology company in Latin America, connecting restaurants and consumers through innovative solutions. They are looking for a Data Scientist to join their team. The Data Scientist will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data and AI solutions, spending most of their time on technical development. The ideal candidate will align with the data and AI team, develop machine learning models, and enhance the experimentation platform. They will also promote a collaborative technical culture and present results to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing data and AI solutions
• Using internal data and AI platforms (Databricks, Airflow, AWS Sagemaker)
• Mapping business needs and opportunities
• Following agile development processes
• Developing and improving machine learning models
• Developing the experimentation platform
• Promoting a collaborative technical culture
• Presenting results and insights to stakeholders

Requirements:

• Experience with experimentation
• Strong programming skills (SQL, Python, PySpark)
• Skills in Machine Learning and Statistics
• Skills in structuring and solving complex problems
• Skills in presenting results/storytelling
• Analytical skills
• Skills in generating insights connected to the business
