Job Description
The company is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team. The QA Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks that support continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) across multiple environments. They will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile setting to ensure the highest quality standards in functional and non-functional areas such as accessibility (ADA), security, and performance.

Role involves:
  • Developing, maintaining, and improving test automation frameworks.
  • Designing and executing non-functional tests.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies.
  • Performing technical testing such as API and database validations.
  • Creating, tracking, and managing bugs/defects.
  • Designing manual test cases for automated conversion.
  • Providing regular test reports.
  • Estimating effort levels (LOE) for testing tasks.
  • Documenting and maintaining QA artifacts.
  • Staying current with QA trends and tools.
  • Researching and recommending effective QA automation tools, strategies, and practices.
  • Leading or supporting mentoring, coaching, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements:
  • 6+ years of hands-on QA experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in QA automation.
  • Proven ability to design, maintain, and execute automated tests.
  • Strong grasp of software engineering principles and agile development methodologies.
  • Solid experience working with relational databases.
  • Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with functional and non-functional testing.
  • Familiarity with test management and issue tracking tools, such as Jira.
  • Skilled in creating clear and comprehensive test documentation.
  • Ability to provide level-of-effort (LOE) estimates and prioritize testing tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide QA team members.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Curious, adaptable, and motivated to learn and apply new tools and technologies continuously.
