Job Description
The company, a leading crypto exchange in APAC, is seeking a Compliance Director to ensure operations align with regulations. The Compliance Director will shape and execute compliance policies in the crypto industry.
Role involves:
- Performing compliance risk assessments.
- Staying ahead of regulatory changes.
- Maintaining a robust compliance program.
- Monitoring transactions for suspicious activity.
- Ensuring products and services meet regulatory requirements.
- Partnering with legal, operations, and technology teams.
- Maintaining detailed records of compliance activities.
- Delivering compliance training to employees.
- Coordinating with external auditors and regulators.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of compliance experience in the Virtual Asset Trading Platform (VATP) or cryptocurrency industry.
- In-depth knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
