Job Description
The company, a leading crypto exchange in APAC, is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to enhance its risk management framework. The role involves ensuring robust protection against crypto-specific risks and aligning with regulatory standards. The Senior Risk Manager will report to senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine risk management processes.
- Manage escalation processes and collaborate with risk functions.
- Provide strategic advice on risk mitigation.
- Enhance governance frameworks.
- Support Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA).
- Oversee Risk Event submissions and root cause analyses.
- Prepare and deliver risk reports.
- Drive a proactive risk culture.
- Contribute to incident management and business continuity planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, risk management, business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in risk or control management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Deep expertise in at least one key risk area.
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in incident management and business continuity planning.
- Ability to foster a risk-aware culture.
- Familiarity with APAC regulatory environments is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English required.
