Job Description
The company, a leading crypto exchange in APAC, is seeking a Product Manager - Wallet to manage its custodial wallet system. The role involves ensuring security, compliance, and user experience, aligning with regulatory standards. The Product Manager will manage the wallet system lifecycle, design operational workflows, and partner with technical teams. They will also coordinate with third-party custodians and audit firms, monitor system performance, and enhance user-facing features. The role requires staying updated on regulatory developments and ensuring compliance with Hong Kong's VATP licensing requirements.
Role involves:
- Managing the full lifecycle of the custodial wallet system.
- Designing wallet operational workflows.
- Partnering with technical teams.
- Leading coordination with third-party custodians and audit firms.
- Monitoring real-time wallet system performance.
- Enhancing user-facing wallet features.
- Ensuring wallet system design aligns with Hong Kong’s VATP licensing requirements.
- Staying updated on Hong Kong and global regulatory developments.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of product management experience in fintech or blockchain.
- Proven track record of designing and managing cryptocurrency custodial wallet systems.
- Expertise in hot/cold wallet architectures and HSM/MPC technologies.
- Experience in regulated markets such as Hong Kong or Singapore is preferred.
- Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals.
- Expertise in custodial system components.
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong’s virtual asset regulatory framework.
- Exceptional cross-functional coordination and project management skills.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese).
