Site Reliability Engineer (Experience - 4 to 6 years, Location - Pune)

Job Description

PhonePe Group is seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to maintain the reliability and performance of its fintech infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Linux/Unix administration and networking, along with a keen understanding of open source technologies, tools, and cloud services. The candidate will ensure services remain always-up and always-available.

Role involves:

• Maintaining reliability and performance of PhonePe's fintech infrastructure.
• Implementing best practices and IT operations.
• Participating in the on-call rotation schedule.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.
• Computer networking proficiency.
• Experience with open source technologies and cloud services.
• Strong background in Linux networking (IP, iptables, IPsec).
• Experience with MySQL databases.
• Coding and scripting skills (Perl, Python, or Golang).
• Experience with automation and configuration management (SaltStack).
• Hands-on experience with private cloud environments.
