Job Description
GitLab is seeking a Customer Success Manager (CSM) for the EMEA region. This remote role involves partnering with customers to achieve their desired business outcomes, guiding them on the GitLab platform, and acting as a liaison between customers and GitLab's various teams. GitLab is an open core software company that develops the most comprehensive AI-powered DevSecOps Platform, used by more than 100,000 organizations. The Customer Success Management (CSM) team focuses on the themes of align, enable, and expand. They align with customers’ desired business outcomes, enable them on their existing use cases, and work with them to expand into additional use cases, ensuring ongoing and ever-improving customer return-on-investment.
What this role involves:
- Partnering with customers to turn business outcomes into actionable objectives.
- Guiding customers on the GitLab platform and best practices.
- Understanding the customer journey and guiding future adoption.
- Acting as the GitLab liaison for customer inquiries and escalations.
- Collaborating with GitLab Support, Product Management, and other teams.
- Managing a portfolio of assigned customers, focusing on adoption, retention, and satisfaction.
- Staying up-to-date on GitLab releases.
Requirements:
- Understanding of Git and branching strategies.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and pipeline.
- Understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment, and DevSecOps.
- Prior experience in Customer Success or related roles.
- Experience partnering with customers to define and achieve business outcomes.
- Familiarity working with customers of relevant sizes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Alignment with GitLab's values.
- Willingness to travel if needed.
- Fluent Spanish.
