Job Description

Critical Mass is seeking a Freelance Presentation Designer to join its Business Development, Marketing, and Communications (BDMC) team. In this role, the designer will be responsible for creating visually stunning pitch decks, proposals, presentations, and marketing content that aligns with the company's brand and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The Freelance Presentation Designer will work closely with a team of other designers and writers, ensuring that all visual elements are consistent, engaging, and impactful. They will also be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest design trends and techniques, incorporating fresh perspectives into projects.

Role involves:

• Developing and executing compelling presentation decks.
• Translating complex ideas and data into clear, engaging slides.
• Applying advanced art direction and graphic design principles.
• Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines.
• Collaborating with team members to integrate narrative and key messages.
• Staying updated on design trends.
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of proven experience in presentation design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a variety of design styles and techniques.
• Proficiency in Keynote, Figma, PowerPoint, Canva, Google Slides, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proven ability to design visually compelling presentations that align with client branding guidelines and storytelling objectives.
• Experience collaborating with content creators and cross-functional teams.
• Strong creative conceptualization skills.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
