Job Description
VGW, an interactive entertainment company, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Engineering team in Perth. The Software Engineer will be responsible for building, shipping, and running their own projects, with a focus on doing things the right way. The role involves working within a cloud-native environment, utilizing practices like CI/CD, IaC, O11y, and CyberSec.
Role involves:
- Writing clean, well-structured code and automated tests.
- Managing source control.
- Improving the codebase and ensuring effective product feature delivery.
- Implementing and using event-driven architectures.
Requirements:
- Robust coding practices.
- Deep understanding of design and architectural decisions.
- Experience with cloud development (AWS).
- Experience with containerization (Docker and/or Kubernetes).
- Strong fundamental knowledge of OO and Functional programming paradigms.
