Principal Product Manager, Kubernetes

Job Description

Aerospike is seeking a Principal Product Manager to spearhead the strategy and roadmap for the Aerospike Kubernetes Operator (AKO). This role is pivotal in shaping how Aerospike is deployed, operated, and scaled within Kubernetes environments, impacting both self-managed deployments and Aerospike Cloud.He/She will be responsible for evolving AKO into a world-class Kubernetes Operator, ensuring business alignment, and focusing on long-term quality and adoption.Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end roadmap for the Aerospike Kubernetes Operator.
• Ensure AKO meets the needs of self-managed Kubernetes users.
• Drive investment clarity by articulating requirements for key features.
• Maintain business reporting for the product.
• Work with engineering to deliver high-quality features.
• Ensure documentation, onboarding, and configuration patterns are usable.
• Engage with enterprise customers and support teams.
• Partner with Cloud Platform, Support, and Customer Success.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of product management experience.
• Track record of delivering technical products.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes.
• Ability to work at depth with engineering.
• Comfortable with usage metrics and adoption data.
• Strong communicator.
