Job Description
Daybreak Health is seeking a Supervising Psychiatrist to provide collaborative supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) in Arizona. The role involves conducting monthly meetings, reviewing charts, and providing clinical guidance. What this Role Involves:
- Providing collaborative supervision to PMHNPs.
- Conducting monthly 1:1 meetings with each assigned provider (via Zoom).
- Reviewing charts per supervisee.
- Responding to clinical questions and prescription-related escalations.
- Executing responsibilities outlined in the collaborating physician agreement.
- Providing clinical guidance, mentorship, and feedback to PMHNPs.
- Utilizing EHR systems effectively to document and review care.
Requirements:
- Arizona Medical License in Psychiatry (active & unrestricted).
- Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
- DEA Certification.
- At least 2 years of behavioral health experience, ideally working with youth.
- Prior supervisory or collaborative practice experience preferred.
- Strong EHR proficiency.
- Demonstrated commitment to youth mental health access and equity.
