Kentucky Supervising Psychiatrist - Remote, part-time

Daybreak Health is seeking a Supervising Psychiatrist to provide collaborative supervision to psychiatric nurse practitioners (PMHNPs) in Kentucky. This is a remote, part-time position offering a supportive team environment and the opportunity to make a real impact on youth mental health. What this role involves:

• Providing collaborative supervision to PMHNPs in accordance with Kentucky regulations and Daybreak's clinical model.
• Conducting monthly 1:1 meetings with each assigned provider (typically via Zoom, ~2 hours/month total).
• Reviewing 5 charts/month per supervisee.
• Responding to clinical questions and prescription-related escalations during normal business hours.
• Executing the responsibilities outlined in the collaborating physician agreement.
• Providing clinical guidance, mentorship, and feedback to PMHNPs.
• Utilizing EHR systems effectively to document and review care.

Requirements:

• Kentucky Medical License in Psychiatry (active & unrestricted)
• Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• DEA Certification
• At least 2 years of behavioral health experience, ideally working with youth
• Prior supervisory or collaborative practice experience preferred
• Strong EHR proficiency
• Demonstrated commitment to youth mental health access and equity
