Coursera is seeking a Staff Product Designer to join their Core Foundation Team. In this role, the designer will translate learner and partner insights into user-centric experience strategies and design solutions. The designer will simplify complex concepts and shape interactions and product solutions for thousands of learners. Responsibilities:
- Link business and customer needs to define product vision and strategy.
- Turn research insights into user experiences.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to guide design decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers.
- Develop globally scalable, locally relevant, inclusive, and equitable experiences.
- Influence design decisions and advocate for the customer.
- Manage prioritization and delivery across multiple projects.
- Coach less-experienced designers on best practices.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience as a UX/Product Designer.
- Experience in designing responsive, accessible web-based experiences.
- Experience utilizing, optimizing, and contributing to design systems and UI pattern libraries.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in design, research, and collaboration tools (e.g., Figma, user testing, Confluence, and Jira).
