Job Description
Appian is seeking a Career Manager to join their Customer Success team in London. This newly created role will focus on the professional development and advancement of Appian's consultants. The Career Manager will shape a new program, impacting consultants’ careers and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires someone who can proactively guide and empower consultants to develop capabilities while aligning talent strategies with organizational and department goals.

The role involves:
  • Developing frameworks and processes for the Career Management program.
  • Leading the creation and execution of the department’s Career Management program.
  • Serving as a trusted resource for consultants, offering guidance and facilitating career growth.
  • Guiding consultants through their learning and development journey.
  • Overseeing and improving systems and processes to develop, evaluate, and retain top talent.
  • Working closely with Customer Success global leaders to align talent initiatives with regional needs.
  • Administering and enhancing processes for feedback, performance reviews, and promotion calibrations.
  • Ensuring internal processes are efficient and well-managed.
  • Serving as an expert point of contact and career resource for consultants.
  • Soliciting and facilitating regular feedback reviews.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Career Counseling.
  • Experience in managing a pool of resources in a consulting and professional services organization.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Adept at navigating challenging situations.
