Job Description
Appian is seeking a Career Manager to join their Customer Success team in Milan, Italy. This role is a new initiative focused on the professional development and advancement of Appian's consultants. The Career Manager will shape a new program, impacting consultants’ careers and ensuring operational excellence. Appian values in-person collaboration and expects employees to be in the office 5 days a week.

The role involves:
  • Developing frameworks and processes for the Career Management program.
  • Leading the execution of the program, supporting consultants' growth and skill development.
  • Serving as a trusted resource for consultants, offering guidance on career growth and performance management.
  • Guiding consultants through their learning journey and advising on training opportunities.
  • Overseeing and improving systems to develop and retain top talent.
  • Aligning talent initiatives with regional needs in collaboration with global leaders.
  • Administering and enhancing processes for feedback and performance reviews.
  • Ensuring internal processes are efficient and don’t interfere with client-facing activities.
  • Soliciting and facilitating regular feedback reviews.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Career Counseling.
  • Experience in managing resources in a consulting or professional services organization.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
