LivePerson is seeking a Senior Commercial & Technology Counsel to support commercial contracting, privacy, and AI compliance. The candidate will work within the Legal team to support sales and commercial contracting and to align and create internal and customer-facing processes that support trusted AI innovation, data privacy and regulatory compliance. This role involves working with top global brands and a team of world-class professionals.
Role involves:
- Engaging in B2B commercial and technology SaaS contracting.
- Supporting legal processes related to customer queries, RFPs, RFIs, questionnaires, and FAQs.
- Developing and maintaining processes and frameworks to align business practices with privacy and AI standards globally.
- Collaborating with Legal, Security, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Managing third-party privacy topics, including due diligence and data privacy impact assessments.
- Assisting in creating and improving form agreements and playbooks.
Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience as legal counsel with SaaS, data privacy, or AI in a Global Technology Company.
- Experience with SaaS sales and commercial contracts and licensing.
- Experience with data privacy, AI compliance, and data mapping.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Knowledge of regulations and best practices impacting data governance, data management, and artificial intelligence.
- Relevant certifications are highly preferred and expected.
- High-level understanding of 3rd party security certifications.
- Ability to communicate comfortably and with confidence.
- Experience working through complex problems and creating easy-to-follow solutions.
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple projects.
- Passion for creating solutions with a positive attitude to change.
- Excellent analytical skills and an informed, evidence-based approach.
- Ability to work remotely or in a team setting as needed.
- Excellent English proficiency; additional languages are advantageous.
