Backend Software Engineer - Navigator

Job Description

Addepar is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join the Navigator team, a quantitative liquidity risk projection tool within Addepar's multi-product ecosystem. This role involves collaborating with product owners, designers, GTM teams, program managers, and other engineering team members to deliver solutions for clients. The engineer will develop novel solutions within a sophisticated financial domain, contributing to both the Navigator application and other parts of Addepar's product ecosystem.Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions for clients.
• Conceive, develop, and deliver novel solutions within a sophisticated financial domain.
• Build within the primary Navigator application and other parts of Addepar's product ecosystem.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional backend software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and understanding of common libraries used by Python.
• Proficient in Django or other Python web frameworks.
• Familiar with HTTP, REST, and web API best practices.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, SQL Server).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
