Capco is seeking a Business Analyst - Data Analyst to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. Capco is an entrepreneurial consulting business with expertise in transformation, technology, and strategy. The ideal candidate will support the maintenance of a Service Catalogue, codifying the Group Operating Model and enabling continued demonstration of the client Group’s resilience and resolvability. This role involves partnering with the broader OCIR team and stakeholders across the Group to support the integration of the Service Catalogue at the core of the Group operating model.Role involves:
Supporting ongoing compliance with PRA Operational Continuity in Resolution (OCIR) regulations.
Working with broader OCIR teams to ensure the OCIR Service Catalogue is continuously updated and maintained.
Coordinating data gathering and assessment across all Businesses in all Countries to enable identification of Critical Economic Functions.
Managing data quality and exception dashboards across all OCIR processes.
Following up on non-performance of required tasks by users across all OCIR processes.
Performing initial reviews and resolving exceptions, per the relevant OCIR Standard Operating Procedure.
Escalating critical exceptions to the OCIR teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, and London for further review and follow-up.
Managing the periodic review and escalation of key exception and data quality metrics.
Providing detailed MI and control reporting on a periodic and ad-hoc basis.
Handling ad hoc Projects – from communication to delivery and providing analysis to stakeholders.
Requirements:
Data Analysis skills: able to analyse data trends & independently assimilate, analyse, and evaluate information from large and disperse data sets
Prior experience of working as a business analyst handling complex stakeholders desirable
Prior experience of working with stakeholders across geographies desirable
Decision-making: able to independently take appropriate decisions within delegated authority levels
Excellent Communication skills: able to communicate issues and solutions clearly and concisely and able to communicate with people in different countries
Banking knowledge: broad understanding of banking industry, customers, functions, and products desirable.
Risk: strong understanding of Operational Risk and how to manage it
Process improvement: experience of & aptitude for identifying & implementing process improvements
Inquisitive & service-oriented attitude
Experience in managing change / programme and project management
