Job Description

Capco Poland is seeking a Senior React Developer to join their team. This role is based in Poland and is a hybrid position, requiring occasional travel to London or Warsaw, especially in the initial stages. Capco is a global technology and management consultancy specializing in digital transformation within the financial services industry.

The Senior React Developer will be responsible for coding enterprise-level solutions, working with clients to define requirements, designing robust data pipelines, and ensuring adherence to best practices in engineering and SDLC. The role involves building event-driven, distributed applications and developing both on-premise and cloud-based solutions.

Role involves:

  • Coding/developing enterprise-level solutions
  • Working alongside clients to interpret requirements and define industry-leading solutions
  • Designing and developing robust, well tested data pipelines
  • Demonstrating and helping clients adhere to best practices in engineering and SDLC
  • Building event-driven, loosely coupled distributed applications
  • Developing both on-premise and cloud-based solutions
  • Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD)

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of experience in Frontend development
  • Experience in Javascript (ES6+), Typescript
  • Experience with React.js and its core principles
  • Familiarity with modern frontend development tools and libraries, such us Redux, React Query or Context API
  • Understanding of responsive design, CSS frameworks and preprocessors
  • Experience with version control e.g. GIT
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIS and asynchronouss programming using fetch or Axios
  • Knowledge of tools like Webpack, Vite, Parcel
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Experience in financial services / capital markets / insurance domain would be highly appreciated
  • Great problem-solving skills, flexible, open-minded with entrepreneurial mind set
  • Being open to work in Warsaw office or to travel to Warsaw office
  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer Science or related topic
