Job Description

Capco, a Wipro company, is seeking a SDET Automation Test Engineer to join their team in Bangalore or Pune. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, designing and implementing test cases, and collaborating with development teams to resolve defects. Role Involves:

• Developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools.
• Designing and implementing test cases to cover various software functionalities and scenarios.
• Writing code to improve testability, create test data, and automate testing processes.
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking software defects, collaborating with development teams to resolve them.
• Working closely with development, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure quality and meet project requirements.
• Testing the performance and scalability of software applications.
• Setting up and maintaining test environments.
• Documenting test cases, results, and defects, and generating reports for stakeholders.
• Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements:

• Strong coding proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).
• Experience with various testing frameworks and tools.
• Experience with automating testing processes, including scripting and framework development.
• Experience with UI automated testing desired.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and agile practices.
• Ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of different testing methodologies, including functional, performance, security, and regression testing.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL for testing purposes.
• Linux/Unix operating systems for test environment setup and configuration.
