Job Description
Planet is seeking a Product Manager to specialize in the Signal and Markers Toolkit (SMT) in their Ljubljana office. This role focuses on defining scalable horizontal technologies to unify and standardize object-based data layer production. The Product Manager will scope and define standard data access and processing methods for objects, leveraging existing SMT functionalities and exploring synergies with other product groups. They will also drive the product strategy, analyze customer feedback, and manage stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment across teams.Responsibilities:- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and desired outcomes.
- Collect and prioritize business requirements, ensuring stakeholder involvement.
- Drive product strategy for the Platform M pod, identifying cross-pod opportunities.
- Analyze customer feedback to define feature prioritization and long-term strategy.
- Manage relevant parties (Engineering, GPSS, Sales) with proactive communication.
- Socialize product, market, and competitive insights within the company.
- Mentor other PMs and teams about AMS/SMT and its implications.
- Partner with Engineering to drive progress and with Marketing to develop compelling content.
- Support Engineering, GPSS, and Product teams with tools and resources.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- Excellent user empathy and ability to translate customer needs into product plans.
- Technical acumen to understand data and analytics tools.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to balance short-term and long-term needs.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a relevant field of study.
