Tripadvisor is seeking a motivated Manager, Commercial Sales Operations to join their team in London. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract (FTC) role to cover maternity leave. The Manager will oversee EMEA Regional Planning & Account Management teams, optimizing revenue and enabling Sales teams to drive and grow business across sectors.

The role involves partnering with key stakeholders to deliver team success, revenue, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing planning, account management, or ad operations teams, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

What this role involves:

  • Leading a team of Planners & Account Managers across all aspects of the sales cycle.
  • Developing and evangelizing processes and key initiatives across the EMEA Account Management & Planning organizations.
  • Liaising with internal cross-functional Leads (Sales, Planning, Ad Ops, Marketing, etc.).
  • Supporting day-to-day teams on key accounts and million-dollar deals.
  • Developing and deploying proactive, solutions-based strategies to grow, renew, and upsell advertising revenue.
  • Recruiting, training, and developing a results-oriented team.
  • Collaborating with internal parties on Sales Enablement materials.
  • Evaluating team performance to surface opportunities for efficiencies, feedback, and learning opportunities.
  • Developing and documenting product processes, proactively identifying gaps and recommending/delivering innovative solutions.

Requirements:

  • Experience in management with planning, account management, or ad operations teams.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams across all levels.
  • Experience with media and custom media executions online or on social platforms.
  • Strong process orientation with the ability to collaborate & influence a variety of stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of the media landscape.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Working systems knowledge with Sales Tech and Digital Platforms (Salesforce, OMS, DFP, Tableau, Airtable etc.) is a plus.
