Cobblestone Energy, a dynamic energy trading company specializing in the European gas and power markets, is seeking a Short-Term Power Trader to join their team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will manage and optimize the company's European power portfolio, developing trading strategies to identify opportunities across various trading horizons, with a primary focus on Day Ahead to Month Ahead markets. The role involves close collaboration with analysts and systematic traders, utilizing advanced tools and insights to maximize profitability. A demonstrable experience in Nordic power markets is mandatory.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and executing trading strategies across multiple European markets.
• Identifying and capitalizing on market inefficiencies, with a focus on the Nordics.
• Collaborating with systematic traders to blend quantitative methods with discretionary strategies.
• Producing data-driven market reports detailing trade rationales and performance drivers.
• Providing round-the-clock market coverage.

Requirements include:

• 2+ years’ track record of solid performance trading in short-term European power markets.
• Demonstrable expertise and a proven track record in Nordic power markets.
• Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in quantitative tools such as Python, R, or Excel VBA.
• Ability to make high-stakes decisions under pressure.
