Senior Manager of Accounting

Job Description

Xometry is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager, Record to Report (R2R), to oversee the entire R2R process. The role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of financial reporting. The Manager will collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and external auditors to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.Responsibilities:

• Oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and consolidations.
• Drive process improvements in the R2R function.
• Develop and implement internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Develop and implement effective cross-border pricing strategies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals.
• Support strategic initiatives, including ERP implementation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA certification required.
• Minimum of 7 years progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Experience in managing the R2R process and implementing process improvements.
• Knowledge of international account standards for US & Europe.
• Experience working at a publicly traded company is preferred.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong work ethic and team player.
