Red Cell Partners is seeking a Director of Engineering to scale Trase Systems' engineering organization. The Director will focus on building high-performing teams, establishing scalable processes, and fostering a culture of excellence. The role involves:
  • Scaling the engineering organization from 15 to 50+ engineers.
  • Designing and implementing team structures and communication channels.
  • Creating and optimizing processes for sprint planning and project management.
  • Implementing performance review systems and career development frameworks.
  • Championing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Managing engineering budgets and headcount planning.
  • Partnering with leadership to align engineering capacity with business objectives.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
  • Experience scaling engineering teams in high-growth technology companies.
  • Strong track record of implementing engineering processes and operational improvements.
  • Expertise in performance management and compensation planning.
  • Experience with engineering metrics and KPIs.
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
