Red Cell Partners is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend Engineering to join Trase Systems in Seattle, WA. Trase Systems is an AI company that empowers enterprise leaders to harness the full potential of AI. The Senior Software Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and cloud infrastructure.

The role involves:

• Architecting, building, and optimizing backend services and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and architect solutions.
• Mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
• Developing and maintaining GRPC and RESTful APIs.
• Integrating 3rd party APIs.
• Ensuring the security and scalability of backend systems.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting production systems.
• Conducting code reviews.
• Communicating technical concepts and project updates.

Requirements:

• Proven experience building microservices and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Typescript.
• Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, and/or Azure.
• Expertise in integrating third-party APIs.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of database design and optimization techniques.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
