Job Description
QuartzBio is seeking a Business Analyst Manager to guide strategic decision-making through business intelligence, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration. This role involves working across teams to identify Business intelligence product scope opportunities and drive the development of scalable Business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will bring analytical expertise, hands-on data analysis skills, and a strong understanding of Business intelligence technologies.

Role involves:
  • Managing the intake and prioritization of business intelligence product requests.
  • Decomposing product requirements into features and translating them into detailed epics and user stories.
  • Conducting backend data pipeline analysis to enrich and validate feature requests.
  • Leading product grooming sessions with stakeholders to align on product deliverables.
  • Driving adoption of business intelligence and semantic layers to empower business users with self-service analytics.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in Business and technical analysis tasks related to Business intelligence.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Analytics, or BI roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 4-6 years of experience working in a customer-facing role and leading projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL/MySQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker), and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience working with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Redshift, databricks).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Asana.
