Junior Dealer - FX

Ebury is seeking a Junior FX Dealer to join their team in Montreal. Ebury is a leading global fintech company that empowers businesses to trade and grow internationally. The role involves servicing a portfolio of corporate clients, supporting senior dealers, and executing FX trades. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French and English and have experience in financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Service a portfolio of corporate clients across a range of different products.
• Support the other dealers with market research, market updates and pitching ideas.
• Execution of FX trades with multiple liquidity providers.
• Collaborate with sales teams to assist in business origination.
• Understand the client's business environments, strategies, and industry.
• Know and understand the competition& capabilities and gaps.
• Deliver on dealer-specific KPIs.
• Building & maintaining strong client relationships through client meetings.
• Expand existing business and provide feedback to technology and product managers.
• Originate new business via networking with existing clients for business referrals.
• Prepare and present market updates to the front office.

Requirements:

• Fluent in French and English.
• Preferably previous experience in Financial Services.
• Working in a commercial bank selling to SME's or alternatively.
• Relevant experience in an environment different to a bank, such as in treasury front office.
• Business/finance academic background.
• Proven ability of bringing passion, energy and motivation to a sales organisation.
• Comfortable with a phone sales approach.
• First-class communication skills, able to win commitment and buy-in.
• Able to develop sales strategies, techniques and tactics based on customer feedback and market environment.
• A skilled negotiator, able to build and leverage relationships at senior levels.
