Operations Specialist

Job Description

Via is seeking an Operations Specialist to support its frontline teams and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in Los Angeles. This role involves building and owning key processes that keep drivers set up for success, from onboarding to real-time issue resolution. The Operations Specialist will be a hands-on problem solver, supporting employees and collaborating with HQ teams to improve operations and scale.Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. From changing a single person’s daily commute to reducing humanity’s collective environmental footprint - Via’s got huge goals. What this role involves:

• Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations for the driver workforce.
• Responding quickly to onsite issues, driver concerns, or operational blockers.
• Overseeing and streamlining onboarding, offboarding, and employee readiness processes.
• Serving as a point of contact for frontline employee support and questions.
• Partnering with internal teams to roll out policies and processes consistently.
• Identifying friction points and implementing scalable processes and tools.

Requirements for this role:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a record of exceptional academic achievement.
• 1-3 years of experience in customer service, operations, human resources, employee relations, or a similar role.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and flexible in adapting to changing needs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with a process-driven mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Based in the Los Angeles area and comfortable working in-person 5 days per week.
