Together AI, a research-driven artificial intelligence company, is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to join their team in San Francisco. In this hybrid role, the Customer Support Engineer will be the primary point of contact for customers, assisting them in developing training, fine-tuning, and inference solutions using Together AI's platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in AI, ML, and GPU technologies, coupled with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with customers to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Serve as a product expert in Gen AI solutions.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Research, and Product teams to address customer concerns.
- Transform customer insights into actionable steps for product improvement.
- Maintain detailed documentation for knowledge sharing.
- Provide support coverage during holidays, nights, and weekends as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, with at least 1 year in AI support.
- Strong technical background in AI, ML, and GPU technologies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure services (e.g., Kubernetes, SLURM) and infrastructure as code solutions (e.g., Ansible).
- Strong knowledge of Python, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript.
- Foundational understanding of compute cluster installation, configuration, and security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
