Job Description
Together AI is seeking a Director of Field Engineering to lead a technical post-sales team. This role is based in San Francisco, CA, and operates on a hybrid work model. The Director will be responsible for driving customer success and ensuring the effective deployment and scaling of AI applications. They will manage account health, identify risks, and serve as a technical advisor to key customers.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor and lead a team of post-sales engineers.
- Manage account health of Together AI’s entire customer base.
- Proactively identify risk in accounts based on technical telemetry and overall business metrics.
- Own voice of the customer program to deliver high-value feedback.
- Take on IC responsibility as a technical advisor to 3-5 key customers.
- Build educational content and tooling for internal and external use.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in a technical role.
- 5+ years managing customer-facing technical teams.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong technical background in AI, ML, and GPU technologies.
- Familiarity with infrastructure services and infrastructure as code solutions.
- Strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn new skills.
