Cloudkitchens is seeking a Building Design Manager to join their team in Jakarta, Indonesia. This role is responsible for managing the design process with internal and external project stakeholders, ensuring successful project design delivery. The Building Design Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating architectural and engineering systems, managing consulting processes, and ensuring quality control of design documentation. This is a hybrid role, requiring the candidate to work from the Indonesia office location 5 days a week.
Responsibilities include:
Managing design process with internal and external project stakeholders
Delivering successful project design
Test-Fitting Modeling + Drawing
Schematic Modeling + Drawing
Advanced building systems coordination
Coordinate arch/engineering due diligence work
Identify and document regional standards prototype variations
Manage consulting process for projects
QA/QC of internal design documentation
Review AEOR drawing sets for compliance with the prototype and overall design efficiency
Identify project strengths and weaknesses from early in the process
Requirements:
5-7 years relevant experience as a designer with a strong background in interiors/hospitality/F&B and/or renovation / adaptive reuse.
2-3 years of people management experience
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior design, or related fields.
Experienced with all project phases.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suites.
Strong space-planning ability.
Strong ability in architectural representation, drafting, and detail development.
Detail obsession, able to go deep on tasks as needed, execute & perform duties with accuracy, raise attention to potential issues & communicate relevant information to all parties.
Ability to multitask plan development for multiple projects with short timelines.
Ability to coordinate architectural and engineering systems cohesively.
