Engineering Manager, API Experience

Job Description

Anthropic is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead their API Experience team. This team is responsible for creating a world-class developer experience for the Anthropic API, which has seen rapid growth since launch. The Engineering Manager will lead a team in crafting an industry-defining developer experience for building AI applications, developing API tools, and collaborating with product and research teams to define the vision and developer roadmap. They will also work cross-functionally to design clear interfaces and processes for shipping products that span many teams, and take an inclusive, equitable approach to hiring and coaching top technical talent.Role involves:

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as an engineering manager
• Background in fullstack development
• Strong product mindset
• Experience recruiting, scaling, and retaining engineering talent
