Job Description
Pure Storage is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to join their Digital Transformation Group. This role is crucial for driving growth and achieving faster business outcomes through IT. The Principal Enterprise Architect will partner with business and technology teams to establish current and future state architectures, as well as business capability roadmaps. They will collaborate with domain experts across the enterprise to establish architectural best practices and guide solution architects. The ideal candidate will continuously seek newer tools and solutions to advance the current architecture.

What this role involves:
  • Partnering with business leaders and application owners.
  • Guiding the documentation of current state architecture.
  • Establishing future state architecture.
  • Developing multi-year business capability roadmaps.
  • Collaborating with Domain Architects.
  • Guiding Solution Architects.
  • Participating in the Architecture Governance process.
  • Providing advisory service on evaluation of tools & technologies.
  • Monitoring industry trends.
  • Sharing thought leadership.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10 years of architecture experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of architecture methodologies and modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman Framework, or Gartner.
  • Experience in at least three disciplines such as business, information, solution or technical architecture.
  • Knowledge of business platforms and ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
  • Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in fast paced agile environments.
  • Experience with Architecture tools such as LeanIX, Ardoq, Abacus, etc.
