Job Description

Verisign is seeking a Database/Platform Administrator to ensure the security, stability, and resilience of the internet. The Database/Platform Administrator will be responsible for the administration of Oracle, MySql and PostgreSQL databases, Oracle middleware, and related environments. The ideal candidate will work with various teams, including DBAs, Integration SMEs, Security teams, and Infrastructure teams.

Role involves:

  • Installing, configuring, securing, and performance tuning databases
  • Designing and implementing disaster recovery scenarios
  • Administering WebLogic/SOA Suite environments
  • Performing Oracle EBS Applications database administration tasks
  • Developing standard operating procedures
  • Ensuring stability and performance of Oracle Applications production instance

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in managing Oracle, MySql and PostgreSQL Databases
  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle WebLogic Administration and related technologies
  • 1+ years of experience in Oracle EBS Administration
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent)
  • Excellent time and project management skills
