Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Talent and Skills Development Manager to join their HR team. This role involves designing and implementing a talent and skills strategy to enhance team performance and engagement. The manager will develop training, development, performance management, talent, and succession plans, while also supporting key HR projects. They will also promote a culture of diversity and inclusion.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Chief People Officer and business teams to create programs that enhance skills throughout the employee journey.
- Developing and embedding the People & Capability strategy to ensure employees feel recognized, engaged, supported, and valued.
- Promoting a continuous learning culture by offering opportunities for career growth, especially for leaders.
- Leading Diversity and Inclusion initiatives in partnership with the DEI Director.
- Managing and inspiring a team of project managers, instructional designers, and facilitators.
- Cultivating a culture of innovation using best practices and creative approaches.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in Talent & Skills, Learning & Development, or HR roles with an L&D focus.
- Experience managing Talent & Capability teams.
- Experience in end-to-end project management.
- Ability to analyze and reinvent processes, create policies, and implement effective strategies and procedures.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and collaboration skills in a diverse environment.
