Job Description
Rush Street Interactive is seeking a Frontend Engineer to join their team in Canada. This role is a hybrid position. The Frontend Engineer will be responsible for delivering high-quality code, leading technical projects, and simplifying complex systems. They will also maintain high-quality standards, participate in code reviews, and document team processes.
What this role involves:
- Providing technical leadership within the team
- Contributing to architecture in a meaningful way
- Leading the development of big/complex features
- Mentoring/coaching other team members
- Diagnosing and solving hard problems/bugs
- Defining and implementing automated tests
- Driving engineering best practices
- Interviewing prospective candidates
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years in Software Engineering
- High level of proficiency in programming languages used by the team
- Strong knowledge of all domains handled by the team
- Ability to coach and mentor more junior engineers
