Vimeo is seeking a Sales Development Representative to identify and qualify potential customers for the Vimeo Sales team. This role serves as the initial point of contact between prospective clients and Vimeo, focusing on generating and qualifying new leads. The ideal candidate will possess a keen ability to identify potential business opportunities and efficiently convert and assign relevant conversations.
Responsibilities: - Prospecting for new business through researching companies and individuals.
- Developing ideal customer profiles for outbound prospecting.
- Qualifying prospects using BANT criteria.
- Growing the sales funnel through outbound campaigns.
- Scheduling high-quality meetings for the sales team.
- Meeting and exceeding monthly goals through outbound efforts.
- Managing a high volume of inbound leads.
Requirements: - 2+ years of work experience in market research, lead generation, marketing, or sales, preferably within SaaS.
- Proven track record of success in a sales cycle.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to identify customer needs and create outreach strategies.
- High level of resilience and ability to handle objections.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software.
