Job Description
Warby Parker is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Optician for their Fashion Island location in Newport Beach, CA. This full-time role involves providing exceptional customer service and helping customers find the perfect eyewear solutions. The Optician will become an expert in Warby Parker's brand and glasses, assisting both new and returning customers. They will collaborate with motivated individuals and have opportunities for career advancement.

Role involves:
  • Working directly with customers to meet their eyewear needs.
  • Taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear.
  • Ensuring finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
  • Explaining prescription terminology and product offerings.
  • Helping customers choose frames and lenses based on their needs and style.
  • Collaborating with the team to improve sales and customer service practices.
  • Representing the Warby Parker brand and educating others about its values.

Requirements:
  • Licensed dispensing optician (or ABO-certified in non-licensing states).
  • Passionate about eyewear and retail.
  • Clear, effective communication skills.
  • Dedicated to customer satisfaction.
  • Positive team player who can adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Open-minded and eager to learn.
  • Not on the Office of Inspector General’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
