Job Description

Simtra BioPharma Solutions, a leading contract development and manufacturing organization, is seeking a Mechanic to join their team in Halle/Westfalen, Germany. The Mechanic will be responsible for batch-related format changes, setup activities, maintenance, repair work on production machines, and troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions.

In this role, the Mechanic will contribute to providing life-changing medications to patients worldwide.

The role involves:

• Analyzing and resolving mechanical malfunctions on machines and systems in the production area
• Supporting the aseptic manufacturing of liquid and freeze-dried products
• Performing in-process controls
• Participating in the preparation of product equipment
• Supporting qualification and validation activities
• Collaborating in the improvement of processes and standards
• Complying with 6S and hygiene standards

Requirements:

• Completed technical training, preferably as an industrial mechanic, process mechanic, or similar, e.g., automotive mechatronics technician
• Professional experience in the industry is an advantage
• Teamwork skills, reliability, and sense of responsibility
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift operation, including weekend assignments
