Job Description
Heartflow is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to guide and oversee complex cross-team and cross-department projects. The ideal candidate will be an expert in technical project management processes and procedures, facilitating project efforts and ensuring adherence to design controls. This role involves close collaboration with multiple teams on schedules and deliverables, with a strategic view across large-scale project efforts and release-level activities. The Senior Technical Project Manager will also guide release activities and mentor team members.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point person for complex cross-functional projects.
- Guiding and facilitating releases for involved projects.
- Overseeing detailed planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of complex cross-functional projects.
- Recognizing and coordinating dependencies of complex cross-functional projects.
- Establishing, maintaining, and communicating plans for associated complex cross-functional projects to all stakeholders.
- Communicating on behalf of engineering team contacts and other project team members when required.
- Holding team members accountable, setting clear performance standards and goals.
- Coaching scrum teams and peers on scrum best practices.
- Mentoring junior project managers and other team members.
- Coaching product development teams on best practices.
- Representing product development in audits and demonstrating compliance with written procedures.
Requirements include:

- Ability to deal with multiple complex projects and demanding deadlines effectively.
- A university degree with a software engineering background.
- Minimum of 6-8 years experience in software and/or medical device industry.
- Deep understanding of Agile development at scale.
- Experience with regulated SaaS products and/or software-as-a-medical-device (SAMD) preferred.
- Proficiency and experience working with JIRA preferred.
