Remote is seeking a Payroll Operations Country Lead for Germany to join their Payroll team. This role is crucial in navigating global employment compliantly. • Leading the planning, execution, and monitoring of global payroll implementation projects.
• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans & timelines.
• Serving as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders.
• Developing and implementing standardised payroll processes and procedures.
• Providing ongoing support to resolve any issues or challenges.
• Supporting the country manager and ops team.
• Mentoring and supporting payroll specialists.
• Working with internal teams to improve the platform.

Requirements:

• Extensive payroll experience in a client payroll environment.
• Expert legislative knowledge in Germany.
• Payroll implementation experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Deep knowledge in using local payroll tools and software tools like SAP, Excel / Google Sheet.
• An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment.
• Experience in accounting/reconciliations.
• Fluent in English.
