Network Engineer

Job Description

PlayStation is seeking a Network Engineer to join its IT Network Infrastructure team. The successful candidate will support the implementation and maintenance of the global enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring a consistent and high-quality network experience for PlayStation employees worldwide. This role involves close collaboration with senior network engineers in executing designs, performing hands-on deployments, and supporting ongoing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Support and implement enterprise network solutions.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot network appliances.
• Assist with network changes, upgrades, and incident response.
• Maintain network documentation and standards.
• Collaborate with IT project teams for network integration.
• Provide input on design reviews and network planning.
• Engage in hands-on work with physical network devices.
• Ensure alignment with network security policies and standards.
• Collaborate with global teams on deployments and support.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in enterprise networking environments.
• Experience implementing configurations across routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Ethernet, VLANs).
• Working knowledge of routing protocols (BGP and OSPF).
• Familiarity with firewall configuration and security policies.
• Understanding of cloud networking concepts (AWS or Azure).
