Job Description
OKX is seeking a Senior Institutional Business Development Manager to join their APAC team. This role focuses on generating and closing high-value sales opportunities within the ASEAN region, specifically targeting institutional clients. The ideal candidate will develop strategies to build a strong client base, identify new revenue sources, and ensure client alignment with OKX’s standards. They will also provide client feedback to senior teams to enhance offerings and drive business growth.
What this role involves:
- Identifying and driving institutional sales opportunities in the ASEAN region.
- Building a healthy pipeline through sourcing and converting prospective opportunities.
- Developing client profiling to identify and replicate success cases.
- Defining and evaluating new revenue streams and opportunities.
- Closing sales opportunities with a focus on high revenue and high impact value deals.
- Ensuring prospects or new clients are in good standing and will not introduce risk to OKX.
- Articulating client feedback and gaps in service/product offerings to senior management.
Requirements:
- Experienced sales professional with in-depth knowledge of local crypto regulations.
- Proven record of developing and managing partnerships with traditional finance clients and institutions.
- Strong stakeholder management ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Extensive knowledge in products that OKX offers for institutional clients.
- Prior crypto sales experience, ideally on another exchange platform.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong focus on achieving results and driving business growth.
- Highly motivated and self-driven with a passion for business development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptable and resilient, able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
