Job Description
OKX is seeking a Software Engineer to join their payment team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will participate in the full development lifecycle of backend services, from design to production releases. They will be a problem solver, able to identify and fix performance issues in a time-critical environment, and prototype ideas using cutting-edge technologies. The Software Engineer will collaborate with front-end, architecture, and cross-functional teams to deliver compelling solutions, with a passion for code quality and maintainability.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in the full development lifecycle of backend services.
- Problem-solving and driving results.
- Finding and fixing performance and scalability issues.
- Prototyping ideas using cutting-edge technologies.
- Communicating effectively with peers and leadership.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Proven track record with real-world projects.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.
- Strong CS fundamentals and knowledge of OOP/OOD.
- Proficiency with Java stack and JVM.
- Solid understanding of Web Services, SOA, REST APIs, and Message Queue.
- Proficiency in Spring Framework, Hibernate, Maven, and Git.
